Report Explorer And TClient DataSets

All the example that come with Report Builder use TTables. However I need
to create a report Explorer using TQuery's, Providers, and ClientDataSets.
Using the interbase example I keep getting an EVariantTypeCastError
every time I try to vreate a new folder.

Does anyone know a way around this?

We now have an end-user demo available that uses DataSnap components... ie.
TClientDatasets with an application server. You can download this demo by
following the link below. There is a ReadMe.doc file included with the demo
explaining how to install and setup the end-user environment.
