Conditional page printing
hi,
i have a 2 page report based on a single database record. A page break is
separating them and the second page is from a subreport.
the printing of the second report needs to be printed based on a value of a
certain field.
More than 1 record can be reprinted at a time.
How do i conditionally print the second page?
thanks in advance.

Inside the main report's detailband.beforeprint event, try checking the
field value and simply toggle the visibility of the PageBreak and
TppSubreport as needed. This will remove the second page as you described.

I was already helping you with this question via support@digital-metaphors.
Please post to single destination - either support@digital-metaphors.com or
the newsgroups. Please do /not/ post to more than one destination. This is
wastes our limited resources and is unfair to other customers.
Here are my thoughts on your question:
- I gave you the same response as Nico. It is the correct response.
- I supplied you with a list of resources for learning ReportBuilder, such
as the Developers Guide, Demos, Tech Tips, etc. I felt that your question
reflected upon your lack of understanding of the basic fundementals of the
product. By spending time with the Developers Guide you can save much time
and frustration in the long run by learning how to correctly model your data
and reports.
- Perhaps you doubt my qualifications? I am one of the original architects
and developers of ReportBuilder.
