RB 7.03 and TeeChart 7.07

edited May 2007 in End User
I currently use TeeChart Pro 5.03 VCL / CLX version that I have hooked into
ReportBuilder Enterprise 7.04 for Delphi 7.

I would like to use the new TeeChart (7.07) component set, but I don't want
to buy the new ReportBuilder yet since we don't have time to retest/develop
our end user reporter.

Does anyone have any experience linking the latest TeeChart release to
ReportBuilder Enterprise 7.04? Is there any problems or is it pretty easy
to switch to RBuilder\TeeChart\Tee700?

    Hi Isaac,

ReportBuilder 7.04 does not natively support TeeChart 7.07. You will need
to manually recompile the RB\TeeChart packages in order to use the two
products. Note that we are unable to provide support for this action due to
the fact that the two versions are untested together.

We compile our own Custom Report BPL so recompiling shouldn't be an issue.
Which version of TeeChart does the "RBuilder\TeeChart\Tee700" folder take
    care of?

    Hi Isaac,

If you take a look at the ReportBuilder Reference | TeeChart | Delphi X |...
section in the help, there is a list of TeeChart versions that are natively
supported by your version of ReportBuilder. I believe RB 7.04 natively
    supports TeeChart 7.0.
