Demo Copy Stamp on Report Print Ouput
We have LICENSED version of Reportbuilder 6.03 using Delphi 5.
On *some* of our machines using the the client app we've built the
printed reports have the "Reportbuilder Enterprise - Demo Copy" stamp on
the center of the page. Some computers work fine; others show this problem.
We are printing to HP-9000N network printers being shared from a Windows
2000 server.
We have also developed an NT service using D5/ RB 6.03 which runs on
that same server, and output generated by the service seems to always
print the overstamp. The clients all use the same app which is run from
a mapped drive shared on that same server. The clients use
Win98/2000/XP; the problem appears on all OS, and also works on all OS.
Why might this happen and how can we fix it?
Thanks in advance!
Scott

the demo one. Looks like the demo leaves traces of its presence.
To fix that I've had to
- uninstalled the licenced version
- install the demo version and uninstall it.
- install the licenced version
The uninstall of the licenced version didn't remove the traces of the demo
that's why I had to install it so I could run the correct uninstall.
