How to print several reports into one big archive file

edited April 2003 in Devices
hi,

does anybody know how to print several reports into one big archive file. i
am able to print several reports as one printjob. if i try to use the demo
for that (i think it was demo 124) with an TppArchiveDevice i get some
errors. Maybe someone solved this problem allready and can send me a sample.

thankx.

yours Lars

One way is to place all of the reports into section style subreports inside
an empty main report. Then print the main report to archive and all the
subreports will be contained in it.

The second option is to generate the reports independently to archive files
and then merge them using Kevin Ugan's merge utility, which we can email to
you. Send us an email to support@digital-metaphors.com and we'll reply with
    the utility attached.

The merge utility works great! We built sample images of all our reports
and put them together with a system generated title page & TOC and then into
a PDF. Great way to show the reporting capability of an application.
