TeeChart resolution in PDF (TExtraDevices)
Dear all,
I am trying for some time to find out why the resolution of TeeCharts in
PDF documents cannot be improved.
I have contacted Jim Waler about this topic and according to him the Chart
is delivered at a resolution of 96 DPI and he has no influence to that.
My conclusion would be that the chart is using a canvas for which the
resolution is by default 96 DPI and that this can be redefined for printers
by examining the printer capabilities. Apparantly either TeeChart does not
find a way to ask the TExtraDevices library what resolution to use or
TExtraDevices does not implement a method to provide this information.
Another option is that ReportBuilder does not know how to provide this
information
to TeeChart.
Is there anybody who has information on how this resolution process takes
place
and how to work around this problem?
Thanks, Herman Steigstra
