Using ppPrintr.ppPrinter when no printers are installed

We're using ppPrintr.ppPrinter's when calling ppUtils.ppToMMThousandths and
ppUtils.ppFromMMThousandths. However, when no printers are installed,
ppPrintr.ppPrinter is nil and this won't work.

We're converting our report generator to run as a service. When running as
a service, the SYSTEM account does not have access to printers or the screen
device.

What can we use instead of ppPrintr.ppPrinter ?
