export formats

edited April 2004 in Devices
I work for a software company that writes software to communicate to cash
registers. One of the things we poll are reports i.e. PLU sale, financial
total, etc. We were looking into purchasing report builder to help us
display these reports. Most of our customers just view and print the
reports we create for them, but some like to export the data to other
software packages or programs (esp. Excel and to the web). I was just
wondering if someone could recommend an export package or two that would be
good ones to look at. For the exports we would like to be able to display
the data in a similar format to the one we create with report builder i.e.
report header information, counts, amounts, calculated mathematical sums,
averages, etc. Thank you very much for your time.
