Printing the Report to PDF file and Preview it

edited August 2004 in Devices
Hi,

We have Report Builder Enterprise 7.04, Delphi 6 Update Pack 2, RTL Update
3, Gnostice eDocEngine and PDF Toolkit on Windows 2000 Professional Service
Pack 4.

OK back to the problem. Currently we are storing all the report in the
database and the loading them and Print them. Now for some reason what the
client want is Load the Report from the database, Save it to PDF in some
temporary folder and then Preview it or open it. (well what they asked for
is when the click the Report Print button all they want to see is a Report
opened in PDF format, but I assumed that I have to store it temporary to
some folder on the HDD)

Now I am totally newbee to gnostice product and I was wondering if someone
can help me with little bit of sample code and some direction to start with
it would be really appreciated.

I was reading through the gnostice help file about recompiling some Report
Builder component and I followed the procedure and now I can see a new tab
on my component pallette called "eDocEngine Additional" and the component is
"gtRBExportInterface".

Am I on the right track here..? If no then doesn't matter but if yes then
where do I go from here since I have to no clue.

Thanks in advance.
