Metafile and win98 problem

Hi,

I have some problems with a delphi application with a report that contain a
TppImage
with a Enhanced Metafile:

If I play the application in WinXP it print correctly.
If I play the application in Win98 it doesn't print.

Some suggestion ?

I solve the problem setting DirectDraw:=true.

I have not understand the usage of this property.
Reading the Help I think that the best usage of this property is to set it
to 'True' but
the default is 'false'.

Can anoyone explain me this property ?

Determines whether the drawn directly to the printer canvas.

For meta files setting DirectDraw to True will likely work better, for bmp
files setting it to False will work better. The bmp files are converted to a
DIB (device independent bitmap) prior to rendering to the printer.
