TeeChart 5.02/ReportBuilder 6.03/Delphi 5
Hi,
I have not been able to install dclRBC55.dpk. It seems to compile correctly
however when I try to install the subsequent bpl, it says the following:
'failed to start because Tee50.bpl was not found'.
I have uninstalled Tee50 and installed Tee55 previously. There are no
instances on the hard drive left of anything Tee50 related. How do I
convince dclRBC55 that it needs to look for Tee55, not Tee50?
I have by the way, as a test successfully installed this on a new Delphi
install previously by deleting Tee50 and all remnants straight away, so I
guess there may be a bpl somewhere that shouldnt be, but where? Or is there
maybe an include I need to modify?
Help appreciated
Alex

I do not recall which versions of TeeChart were supported by RB 6.03.
However, there are more packages than just dclRB55. Check the
RBuilder\TeeChart subdirectories. The package source is installed there.
Check the requires clause of the packages. They may need to updated. There
should be a ReadMe there that explains how to compile an install the
packages. There is a BuildTee.dpr project that rebuilds the RB TeeChart
related .dcu's. Then you compile the packages to link the .dcu's into a new
package. There is specific ordering to recompiling the packages.
It is a good idea to delete Tee50 from the hard drive. Make sure you delete
the Tee50.dcp's as well as the .bpl's.
