Pragnaan PDF Inconsistencies

I recently purchased Report Builder Server Edition 10.06 and the Pragnaan
Export devices and I am having a little frustration with them:

1: The "Adobe Acrobat Document" export option does not support the border
properties labels. In other words, I have a label component with the bottom
border option enabled to print a line below my text. This line is not
carried over into the PDF document generated by Pragnaan.

2: The fonts are marginally smaller in the PDF documents generated by
Pragnaan

I have an example I can provide of a report exported with the PDF device
provided by Report Builder and on exported with the "Adobe Acrobat Document"
device provided by Pragnaan.

The PDF export provided by Report Builder works flawlessly, everything is
lined up correctly and the "label border lines" print like they should.
This is not true of the Pragnaan export device. I design the report in the
report designer and when the clients print them out over the internet, with
the web tier using pragnaan for the export device, something different
prints out. It is not a huge difference but it is more than enough to look
unprofessional and completely deprecate the use of the label border options.

Is this a know issue or could there be something wrong on my end?

Why not use our PDF export device?

We have seen very little activity from Pragnaan in these newsgroups lately.
Your best bet is to try to contact them directly and see if they can help
you with these specific issues.

According to the documentation "ReportBuilder Server Edition contains
built-in support for two add-on products which generate PDF files:
Waler rsWebAdapterPDFWWaler
Pragnaan rsWebAdapterPDFPragnaan"


I don't know how to use your PDF export device. I don't know if I'm looking
in the wrong place but I can't find anything referencing it in the
documentation as far as "printing" from the web-based reports. I would
definitely prefer to use your PDF export device, I just don't know how to
implement it in the web tier.

Never mind, I found rsWebAdapterPDF in one of the demos by searching for the
equivalent Pragnaan file. It is not in the documentation though. I
wouldn't have known it was possible by looking at the RBServer.pdf document.
