Strange print behaviour
Hi
I am experiencing a strange problem with one specific report. The other
reports in my application seems to work just fine.
With this specific report, the user previews the report. The report spans
over two pages. There are two scenarios:
1) When previewed without navigating to the second page, and then printed,
both pages print but the user is then unable to navigate to the second page
in the print preview window.
2) The report is previewed and the user navigates to the second page. When
printed, only the first page gets printed.
This happens only sometimes. Then the report is working fine and then it is
causing problems.
I have tried changing some settings such as page caching, pass setting etc.
The CloseDataSource property of my data pipelines are set to false, the
queries are opened when the form is shown and closed when the form is
closed.
I really do not know what the problem might be. Has anyone experienced a
problem like this before?
I am using the CodeGear RAD Studio 2007 with Report Builder 10.06
Thank you,
Jacques

This is not a known issue with ReportBuilder. I would first suggest
upgrading your version of ReportBuilder to the latest (RB 10.08) and see if
you get better results. Another thing to try would be to comment out all
the event code related to this report and try to re-run the report. If this
fixes the problem. periodically begin adding the event code back to isolate
the issue.
