Missing colors.

edited November 2009 in Devices
Hi All,

Normally I don't have any problem with ReportBuilder.
But now, since I have a new printer HP Color Laser Jet CP1215 every document
printed with RB V7 and Delphi 7 is in Black and White.
If I use another program like Word, the documents are in color.

Any idea what could cause this color problem?

Thanks in advance.

    Hi Peter,

This is not a known issue with RB 7.04. If you are not using 7.04, try
upgrading and see if that solves the problem. Also, before printing, check
your printer settings to be sure it is set up to print in color (properties
button of the print dialog). You can upgrade by contacting
info@digital-metaphors.com with your serial number and purchasing email
    address.

I recommend downloading a trial version of RB 11 for D7, I think that will
work better for you. And I think you will be impressed at how the product
    has evolved since RB 7.

RB 11 can open and run your existing reports and includes support for D6,.
    D7, D2005,. D2006, D2007, D2009, D2010.

Here is link to What's New fo RB 11, you can use the navigation bar on the
left to view more detail or to see what was new for RB 9 and RB 10.

Moviing forward I also recommend updating your Delphi 7 to Delphi 2010.

    Hi Peter,

ReportBuilder 11 is backward compatible and includes a version that supports
Delphi 7. As Nard mentioned, we recommend downloading a trial copy of the
product first and testing your code with it. If you have any issues, please
post them here or send an email to support@digital-metaphors.com and we will
    be happy to help.
