RB 14.04 - HTML Output not compatible with Outlook

Hi there !

I can print my reports to HTML device and view them
in my browser no problem. Looks exactly what's in
RB Preview. Problem is when I try to load the same
html as the body of my outlook email, it's a a mess !

I understand Outlook uses MS Word for rendering emails.
So is is there anyway to make the HTML output Word
compatible ?

Hi Peter,

In order to position report objects in their exact locations, the RB
HTML/XHTML device uses the

tag to export elements to an HTML file.
This is unfortunately not fully supported by the latest versions of
Outlook (2007+).

It is on our todo list to research an option to export only with tables
however this would be a large undertaking to the current device.
