can't preview in email client on server

Hi,

Delphi 2007
Rb 12.04 (32 bits)

it ' work fine with windows XP (x32), windows 7 (x64)
but not on wiwdows server 2008 (x64) and 2012 (x64)

same thing with thunderbird (x32) or outlook

on the server 2008 : PdfCreator also can't preview mail , but with this
error : MAPI failure: valid session id does not exist

Someone have an idea ?

Hi Julien,

Checking on-line, it appears the most common reason for this error is
that there is no default email client defined for the machine. Be sure
a (MAPI compatible) client is installed on your server machines and that
they are set to the default client.

Yes i have defined default email client
i do the test with outlook and thunderbird

can you test the PreviewInEmailClient on windows server (2008 or 2012)
please ?

Hi Julien,

I tried a simple email app on our Windows Server installation and it
functioned correctly.

If this issue is also occurring with other applications such as
PDFCreator as you mentioned in your earlier post, it is likely not a
ReportBuilder issue.
