Export to XLS and multiple worksheets in a workbook

Hi,

I need to be able to export a report to XLS but need to be able to
export a report group to separate work sheets in a workbook when the
group changes.

e.g.

If I have a group based on client id and I have two different client
ids. The detail records for the first client id go to work sheet 1 and
the detail records for the second client id to to work sheet 2.

Is this possible?

Hi David,

Take a look at the following article on exporting each group to a
separate file. The article shows how to do this for PDF, but the same
would apply for XLS.

Hi Nico,

What I am after is slightly different. I am not actually after
separate files for each group but just one file where the groups appear
on separate sheets within the single XLS file.

Hi David,

Thanks for the clarification. Unfortunately it is not currently
possible to export a report to multiple sheets inside the same XLS document.

This is a feature we will consider researching and possibly adding for a
later release of ReportBuilder. Thanks for the feedback.
