RBuilder install, BDE errors

I just installed Report Builder 7.04 without any problems, but when I try to
access data by clicking on the query wizard, or selecting a data access
table component and try to set the object identifier database property, I
get errors:

Database Engine Error
An error occurred while attempting to initialize the borland database engine
(error $2104)
BDE Error: 8452 [$21] [$4]

or

Database Engine Error
Interface mismatch. Engine version different.
BDE Error: 12033 [$2F] [$1]

When I go to the control panel and click on the BDE Administrator icon,
nothing happens.

Any and all information on this problem would be greatly appreciated.

ReportBuilder does not affect the BDE at all. There are no known issues
with ReportBuilder and the BDE.

Perhaps you made some other changes to your system.

Try quitting out and rebooting your system. If that does not work, try
uninstalling ReportBuilder and then rebooting - that would test whether
ReportBuilder affected something.

ReportBuilder is compiled to support a vanilla installation of Delphi. Are
you using a standard installation of Delphi or have you made some
modifications?
