SQL having statement

edited October 2007 in DADE
I did a search and found a post about this but the post itself had been
removed from the server.

Is there any way to add a having statement to a dataview? I'm not sure if
this is already built in and I haven't figured it out, or if I will have to
create a RAP pass through. Either way I need this functionality!

Also, is there a place where these post are archived to so that I know in
the future where to go to view a post that has been removed from the
newsgroup server?

Thanks All,
Branden Johnson

    Hi Branden,

I believe you asked this same question on 11/08/2004... :).

There is currently no support for the Having clause in ReportBuilder.

You would need to manually edit the SQL to use this statement in DADE.

ReportBuilder newsgroup archives may be searched using a search engine
hosted by Tamarack Associates. Access the the following URL and then search
the Borland Newsgroup database. Tamarack has indexed the ReportBuilder
    newsgroup archives in this database.

I thought I might have asked that before but wasn't sure how long ago. I
would have thought that this basic need would have been met in the past 3
years of development. Can I ask why this need has not been assessed?

    Hi Branden,

Thank you for the feedback. We will continue to consider this enhancement
for a later major release of ReportBuilder.
