Embedding fonts through RAP for the PDF Export

edited March 2004 in RAP
Hello,

Is there a way to embed a font in the PDF export through RAP. We get all
our report through Report Builder in the software we have bought, when used
through the web, it shows up as a PDF. My assumption is that the programmer
has used the PDF device in his code. Sometimes reports (in PDF format) dont
include the original fonts we have designed with in our RB report. I would
like to know if we can do this through RAP so we dont have to re-code the
application.

Thanks

-Dominique

Please contact the publisher of the software that you have purchased.

Please note that these newsgroups are provided for the Delphi developers who
purchase a license to ReportBuilder or who are evaluating ReportBuilder with
the intention of purchasing a license.

This issue would be related to the PDF export device itself. Perhaps the
device has an option to embed the fonts.

Thanks for the quick response. Not the response expected unfortunately. I
have been using this service for quite a while, never had any issue. We are
a development company that also integrate a software from a very "delphi
oriented" company and we try to avoid having this company release a build
for something we could do in RAP.

Thanks for your hel..., I will pass this on to our developement company and
they can repost here. . .

First you need to contact the PDF export tool vendor you use and ask them if
it can be done with their export device. And then see if it can be done in
    RAP.
