Pallete and D6

edited July 2001 in General
Just installed RB for D6. This is the first of
my third party components I have installed

Problem is it has zapped my entire pallete except
for the RB stuff - even in th registry!!

Any connection???

Which version of RB are you using? We've installed every version multiple
times into D6. We've seen that happen when installing Delphi, but not any
    3rd party component.

The D6 version just downloaded from yourselves

Possibly not RB problem but cannot figure out what is wrong
and more to the point what caused it. (First time running D6
after installation the pallet was blank)

I meant to say which edition of RB -Standard, Pro or Enterprise?

I have the same problem. I just downloaded and installed RBuilder
(Standard)6.0 for Delphi 6 and my palettes are empty.

    Little help will be great,

    Thanks

I have not been able to reproduce the problem. I installed standard a half
dozen times yesterday morning and then enterprise a few times and the
palette was always there. However, we are aware that this problem has been
reported by others and we've seen it ourselves. It doesn't look like the
problem is related to a particular edition of RB. If every RB install hosed
the registry, then we would tend to believe that there is a significant
problem with our installation program, but most installs are working
properly in this regard. The best suggestion at this point is to reinstall
the packages for the component palette and reinstall RB. We'll continue
    researching this.
