AV's in ReportBuilder 6.01/Win2K/Delphi 5.01
Digital Metaphors:
MY APP is producing AV's in RBEnt6.01 as described in the below message.
I AM CRIPPLED AND cannot support my customers. My backups of 6.0 and 5.56
did not take, so I have no way of going backwards.
I have tried your tech tip on uninstalling ReportBuilder Completely from
Delphi - it does not work.
I either need you to send me RB 5.56, or tell me how to fix 6.01 -
Enterprise version.
I am running on Delphi 5.1 with RB 6.01 ENTERPRISE and getting AV's when
clicking on the language tab in the calc window of RB 6.01. The error reads
" Access violation at address 4004AF0 in module VCL50.Bpl Read address of
940414E6"
Thank you for your help

I did send this directly to D-M support. I uninstalled Report Builder
completely, via the tech tip and then re-installed Report Builder - I even
downloaded a fresh copy. Nothing works - same AV. Either the Build has a
problem or I have some corruption in Delphi or something - Hmm. I guess the
tech support guys will have to figure this one out.

I have 4 custom components installed in ReportBuilder - including Rap
pass thru functions. These packages needed to be recompiled for the new
version of reportBuilder -
How did I miss that ???
Anyhow, everything is working very well now. Thank you all for your help.

I could post that question on my office all
