Report Builder 6 installation Problem

edited August 2001 in General
I Can't get RB6 to work with TeeChart 5.01 pro.

I get:

Cannot Load Package tee60. It contains TeeAbout which is already
included in Tee56.

How can I solve this?

Same problem here. It also happened with RB 6.0.

We don't have support for the beta version of TeeChart 5 for Delphi 6, yet.
When the final version of TeeChart is released for Delphi 6, then we will
have support for it. You should be able to build with runtime packages for
the installed version of TeeChart, which is bundled into Delphi 6.

Hi Jim and thanks for your reply. Two weeks ago i asked to Teemach guys if
TeeChart 5.01 "Pre-release" for D6 was a beta or what. They answered it was
a solid and stable version, based on the same source of the D5 Tee5.01
version, and needs only some adjustment in setup procedures (they'll
distribute a new-setup at the end of september) but they assured it is
    perfectly useable just now.
Hope you have time to integrate 5.01 in RB6 soon! :) Thanks for your great
    work and support.

The problem is, that it is released as a beta (I think their website says
(pre-release)), we haven't been notified by them that they have a final
release. Hopefully, it will get released soon. I'm sure it is built on the
D5 source base, and is just as stable as before. It certainly is possible
that they could change anything they want before the final release version.
We would rather wait until the other 3rd party vendors release a full
version of their products for Delphi 6 before we spend resources (time)
integrating them for use with RB. Thankyou, for your patience.
