How to write Calendar Report

I want to be able to create a monthly report that looks like a monthly
calendar.
It should be a report with 7 columns and up to 6 rows.

Each day of the week is a box with all the invoices in it. ( upto the size
of the box )
Please advise.

Something like this

SUN MON TUE WED THU FRI SAT
1 2 3 4 5 6 7
inv# inv#
inv# inv#

8 9 10 11 12 13 14
......
