Document Report Format

edited August 2001 in General
Is there a documentation tool (or process) by which the report I just
created can print out with all of it's atrributes? (Some older
standalone report writers could do this). It may look similar to:

---Header Band------
Header band attributes listed
Pipeline, Field, Atrributes

(Then the layout would appear with a ruler)

Label Field Field Field
---End Header Band -----
---Detail Band-----
Detail band attributes listed
Pipeline, Field, Atrributes

(Then the layout would appear with a ruler)

Label Field Field Field

and so on...
with a Report attributes summary.

Short of using screen captures - is there a way of doing this??

Thanks.

    Hi Diana:

There is not anything I am aware of. You could print out the DFM part of the
report, but that would not be for the average user. Otherwise you would have
to parse the report yourself for the info you want to print.

If you need an example, repost and I will put a quick one together.
