Footer sometimes is not printed...

I observed that footer sometimes is not printed. I put page number and some
additional information in footers of my reports. HP Desk Jet 840C does not
print it. What is curious, when I changed the position from portrait to
landscape, the footer was printed out correctly. I tested it only for one
page reports. The same reports are printed correctly on HP Laser Jet 6L in
all cases...
