Custom previewer

edited September 2001 in General
Is it possible to create a previewer that displays the report pages end to
end - so that you can scroll from one page to another without needing to
press the next page button (similar to viewing a PDF file).

Any help would be much appreciated.

Thanks.

Vernon.

You can increase the page height so that in the default previewer the report
will only be one page long. View the report at 100%.

For what I'm doing that's not really suitable. The users wnat to be able to
see the pages as they would be printed (i.e. with headers and footers).
Could the viewer code be modified to accomodate what I am after (I am
currently runing the evaluation version so do not have the source).

The current viewer doesn't have this capability to preview all of the pages
and scroll through them. The viewer is good at rendering a single page. You
may be able to use the current viewer, but use a scrollbox with a viewer
inside of it, which could be used to navigate through the pages. The zoom
setting will need to be 'whole page' so that the previewer doesn't create
another scrollbar to move around inside of the current page when it doesn't
fit on the screen. You will have to get the page count by setting the
report passsetting property to twopass. I'll see if I can come up with a
    demo.
