Add a new AutoSearchField based on Criteria

Hi all.

I want to be able to add a new AutoSearchField based on values a user
selects in my own custom autosearch dialog. So this needs to happen when
they have closed the autosearch dialog but before the report is run. I
tried doing this in the Valid part of my own versions of the autosearch
panels, but the field seems to get added too late. It does not have any
affect on the report, but when the report is closed and the user selects the
autosearch dialog again it displays the field in the dialog, which is not
something I want to happen. I want the searchfield to affect only the
current run of the report without the user knowing this, and not be made
persistent so that it appears in autosearch. How can I achieve this?

This may be better suited to the DADE newsgroup, but you should be able to
extract the SQL object and create a search criteria field and then modify
the criteria, as the following code example shows:
