Header/Footer printing in Child SubReport

edited October 2001 in General
Having a child subreport the header and footer aren't visible. Why?
In some cases i'll need to show the subreport header and footer, specially
if the subreport goes across several pages.I know i can create a Group in
order to print the group header in all pages, but i don't think it's the
best way.

Thanks in advance,
AA

The child-type subreport prints just as a memo would print- it has no idea
what a page is, only that it is given space to print on the current page.
The main report's header and footer will print on every page. Set the
subreport's PrintBehavior property to section, and the subreport will print
as if it we a nested full report object and it will print the subreport's
headers and footers instead of the main report's headers and footers.

Ok i know, but why not print Header and footer?
Don't you think this should work? Shouldn't take place in the To Do List?
    Even MS Access do it.
    Thanks,
    Sorry the pressure.
