The parameter is incorrect error?
When I copy an exe file to another computer, I cannot preview a report on
the other computer. Works just fine on my development computer. Had the
same error with D5 and D6 and pro and ent versions of RB. When I press
OK, I can continue on and print the report but not view it.
Any ideas?

when I'm out of resources. You might check to see
how many other applications are running and possibly shut some down.

I would be surprised about that one being the problem, but I'll have a
look.

in my application that message gets triggered! I've gotta add
more memory to this machine... although that doesn't
necessarily fix the resource limits inherent in WIn 95/98.

I have tested this app on 2 other computers other than mine. One is a HP
PIII with 64 meg RAM and the other is a brand new AMD 1.4 with 128 meg of
RAM. Both give the same error on preview. Somehow, I think it's
something else.

worked fine and on others, when trying to generate the report we got the
error message. This started happening when we changed the paper size: it
worked fine when we were using 3" x 12", but started giving problems when we
raised it to 3" to 17" (we later found out that the error popped up when
using anything over 12"). Luckily, yesterday by accident we found out that
even if you get that error message, if you change the zoom setting in the
preview screen, the report is generated correctly. When going back to the
original zoom setting, you got the error message again. Probably a bug in
RB.

color setting down to 16 bit color and we can view the reports without
the parameter error. These machines are running Win98 or ME.
