Printing question

edited October 2001 in General
Hi, i have a landscape report in Letter paper size. The preview seems
OK, and have 1.5 cm of margin in each border. But when i print it i'm
having the right side without margin and the left side with 3 cm.
How can i solve it? thanks

Make sure you are using the latest version of RB. Margins of that size
print for us on our printers. Do you get this behavior with a simple report
which has only shapes in it?

You may want to test on another printer or use the HP Laserjet 4 driver, as
that should work. Upgrade your printer driver to be the latest one
    available.

Are you performing anything in code which would change the position of the
    components?

Are you changing the printersetup property of the report in code, or is it
    never changed?

Yes, i'm also having a strange displacement printing simple reports. The margins
are not respected and a part of the reports is eaten.
Where can i download the last version and how can i know which version do i
    have?

I have the last version installed as long as i know (driver released in 1998!!)

    Nop.

    Never changed.

As posted in my other message, it seems to be a problem with the landscape printings
in my printer. But a general problem, not RB.
    thanks

    Guillermo

    printings

I have found a similar problem with HP Laserjet 5 and Windows 2000. Using
A4 instead of letter sorted the problem.

    Thanks!

John, we mainly use an HP LaserJet 5 on Win2000 to initially test any
printing issue, we haven't had any issues similar to this. Can you send a
    demo report to support@digital-metaphors.com

I sent an example to Tom Ollar last week. I can send another copy from work
    tomorow if you need it.

John, I wasn't aware that you had sent one in earlier, so, there's no need
    to resend it, thanks.
