DADE?

Hi

I have an ADO dataset, a Datasource and a DBPipeline component that are
linked together on a form. I am thus not using the 'Data' tab in the RB
Report Designer. Am I using the DADE now or NOT. Do you only use the DADE
when you create your queries on the 'Data' tab of the RB Report Designer??

You are not using DADE if the data access components exist on the form.

If you create queries in DADE, and they are saved with the report, then you
are using DADE, even if in the runtime designer the DADE tab isn't visible
when this report is loaded.

If you include daIDE and the desired DADE plugin, in your uses clause, then
you will link in the DADE implementation and the data workspace will appear
in the runtime designer, even though you haven't created and queries in DADE
for the report.
