Install problems

I am tearing my hair out trying to get Report Builder 6.02 (with update pack
1) to work with TeeChart 5.02. I reinstalled Delphi6, installed TeeChart,
and then installed Reportbuilder (all registered versions). I could start
Delphi without error until I installed Reportbuilder. After the install, I
got the following error as Delphi was opening:

The procedure entry point
@TeeProcs@TCustomTeePanelExtended@SetBackImageMode$qqr26TeeProcs@TeeBackImag
eMode could not be located in the dynamic link library Tee56.bpl.

followed by:

Can't load package C:\Program
Files\Borland\Delphi6\RBuilder\Lib\dclRBC66.bpl. The specified procedure
could not be found.

then, on compile of the package, I get [fatal error] ppChart.Pas(10): File
not found 'IEdiGene.dcu'

I then followed the instructions in your ReportBuilder TeeChart Support for
Delphi 6 white paper with similar results. Trying to compile the rbT66.dpk
package results in the first error message above.

How do I get ReportBuilder and TeeChart to play together nicely?

We have a patch which fixes the Teechart problems for RB 6.02 for Teechart
5.02 and Delphi 6. I'm sending you the necessary files you'll need to copy
and recompile the package to install Teechart support in RB. Send a request
for the patch to support@digital-metaphors.com if you do not receive an
email from me.
