Formatting a number

Hi, i want to show a number in percentage format.
I'm using:
#,##% but if the number is 97.34 only appears as 7.34, and if i use
####,##% i'm having problems if the decimal separator is the dot (.).
Also, how can i have independence of the regional settings? If i use
#.## and the decimal separator in settings is , i have a wrong format.

The project uses FormatMaskText function, but i don't have in which unit is
it and Delphi help doesn't list the unit neither...

It is in MaskUtils unit of Delphi 6.

By the way, all was my error, i forget to set the correct datatype to the
variable.
