Upgrading to RBP 6.02

edited November 2001 in General
We currently have RBP 5.0. We would like to upgrade to RBP 6.02 since there
have been defect fixes and new features. The problem I have seen is that if
I attempt to open a RBP 6.02 report in an environment where I still have RBP
5.0 components installed, I receive numerous "Invalid Property Values"
errors. If we do go to RBP 6.02, for every customer, they MUST all upgrade
to the latest version of our software that contains RBP 6.02 code, correct?
If not, they receive all the error messages. The user can click the "Ignore
All" button but will that cause other problems? Is there a way to not
display the "Invalid Property Values" error dialog and just automatically
ignore all the errors? If a user opens a report that was created using RBP
5.0 in our application that now has RBP 6.02, will any errors occur?

Thanks.

Sorry, but once you open a Report with RB 6.02 it should not be edited
    with RB 5.0.

    Nard,

Thanks for the help. What about the other way. If we open a RBP 5.0 in RBP
6.02, will we experience any problems? We don't use DADE, only the
    jitPipeline.

    Thanks.
