Using Views in Interbase with Reprot Builder
Hello,
I am using RBuilder Enterprise 6.02 with Delphi 6 and interbase 6 (open
source version).
I have just spent a number of days of effort creating a complex view (needed
some UDFs defining for interbase) to report on using RBuilder. When I tried
to create the report the view was not visible in the report designer.
Can anyone tell me how to make interbase views visible to RBuilder as this
is vital to my project.
I am using the interbase components that come with Delphi 6 and have
included the daIBExpress file in my unit that contains the TppDesigner
component.
Thanks,
Leon Crisp.

RB does not inherently support views. You can try modifying
daIBExpress.pas to get the views as well as the tables. Just keep in
mind that we have not tested RB with views at all.
