Printing IMAGES PROBLEM
Help!
I have an image, usually GIF of size 2400x3500, which I assign to TppImage
on a single report. Under Windows 2000, NT everything is OK, picture prints
and quality is good.
But, under Windows 98 NOTHING COMES OUT of the printer. No document in
active printer dialog. Nothing. Nada. Nula.
I was analyzing print documents spooled to active printer under Windows
2000, and I noticed that report file is enormous 25Mb in size, while picture
itself (bitmap) in memory takes "only" 8Mb!!! I suppose that this causes
problems with Windows 98 print system...
Also, for such big bitmaps on the report, I can not get print preview ONLY
under Windows 98. Sometimes it report "Out of System Resources" error.
What is the problem? Does ReportBuilder engine eat too much memory?
Please help, and thanks everyone who gives me a tip.

The problem is Windows. I have the same issue with a scalable bitmap viewer
I created. Doesn't work under 98. Works fine in 2000. 98 is a *real* limited
OS when it comes to large graphics. (Applications have to play tricks on the
OS to get around issues such as these).
