Several Problems

Hi,

we have several problem with RB Enterprise 6.01 :

- in complicated reports (6 Subreport, 30 Rap-Scripts) we
sometimes get access violations, when designing the report.
If we save the report, the report template loses many of its
coponent or cannot even be loaded again.

- the names of groupheaderbands change, when saving
the report. When loading the report again, warnings
appear that Rap-Code linked to the band cannot be loaded
or other Rap-Code containing the old names of the band
cannot be compiled.

- If setting a variable on the designer the variable might
get a name, which exists already in the report.

These errors occur sometimes and can only hard be
reconstructed. The is no obvious rule, that cases the
error.

Does anyone have similar problems?

FWIF, I occationally get AV's in previewing reports that do not have and RAP
inside.

Also, to keep me from going crazy, everytime I exit the editor and save the
report, it saves a incremented backup file (in a directory that is similar
to the report's name). That way I can restore a report.

Hi,

this is not very satisfying. Did you have contact to the guys of DM
in this question? What did they say?

1. Try 6.03, we made some changes to try to help the stability when
using the Designer within the Delphi IDE. Particularly the Delphi 6 IDE
is not very stable - I get AV's when not using RB.

2. If you have something that is repeatable, e-mail steps to recreate
