can RBuilder print reports that are mult. pgs wide?

edited July 2002 in General
Hi all,

I am working to design reporting into an existing analysis application for
POS data. The set of columns we have in a report are (potentially) much
wider than will fit in a single page width (landscape). Does RBuilder
support allowing multiple page widths? I've used other reporting tools that
do and have been unable to get this from RB. The rest of the demo on it
looks great and I like the report designer much better than the other tools
I've looked at.... Please tell me this can work!

:)

Thanks in advance,

Max

You also have full control over the pages if you want to print them in any
order. To print a multiple page report, like a spread sheet syle report,
you can print multiple subreports. Each subreport will be able to fit data
for one side of the page. For example, page one of subreport one is the
first page of the report. The second page with continuing data is taken
from teh second subreports first page. And so on... However, each subreport
print all of their pages to completion, which means that all the pages are
not mixed together. You can take the pages and reorder them to take one page
from each subreport and send them to the screen or printer device to make it
appear that the data is continued on the next page. Here is the code to do
    this:
