Problem: EVariantInvalidOpError

I'm using two TppJITpipelines in a master/detail relationship,
and it seems that if one of the Joined fields is NULL
and the other is not we get an EVarianInvalidOpError!

This came of course after installing the Delphi 6 update 2.

What is now the guidelines for assigning values to joined fields?
