Page Header Variables

I am designing multi page report which is a directory of Company names, the
names of the Companies are taken from a database and each page in the report
contains 25 to 30 entries. In each page header band I want to show the range
of the alphabet covered by each page (i.e. A-C, C-D and so on). I am using a
variable in the page header band and its OnCalc event captures the start
letter of the
Company name from the first group on each page. I have tried various methods
to capture the Company name from the last group on each page, but all with
varying degrees of success.

Do you have any suggestions?
