RBuilder can?t see Interbase data filed type numeric (15,2) -Help!!

I?m using Interbase/Firebird (DBExpress) with some fields type numeric
(15,2) .
This kind of field are seen as String within Rbuilder , and should be double
or something like.
The float type from Interbase are seen as double.
Is there a fix?

There is an issue with BCD fields being interpreted as String. Email
