poPortrait/poLandscape Bug

edited August 2002 in General
A while back I posted a message where

a) I designed a report to print in landscape mode
b) I use the 'Page x of y' format
c) Prior to printing, I changed the orientation to poPortrait in the
print/print setup menu.

What happens is that the total number of pages remains as it was in
landscape mode. For example, if a report is 4 pages long in landscape
mode but only 3 in portrait, the last page comes out as 'Page 3 of 4'.

I was asked by Digital Metaphors if this happens in the demo reports.
The answer is yes.

Take demo report 11 - it is a landscape report. You need to make two
changes to it. First, you need to move the page number to the middle
of the page, otherwise it gets cut off in portrait mode. Second, you
need to change PassSetting to psTwoPass (or all you get is 1 of 1, 2
of 2, etc.). Then run the report. Do the preview. Then press the
print button. Prior to printing, change the orientation of the
report. You will see that the last page of the Marine Adventures
report says Page 2 of 3.

Thank you.
