Empty column in newspaper model report

hi,

I am using report builder 6.03 with interbase database.

I have a report in newpaper columns format with max. 10 columns (header) and
each column contains max 40 rows (subreport).
The report has more than 120 rows of data (i.e more than 3 columns). I am
using a ppVariable to print the serial number sequentailly upto max. 40. It
should not print the serial number more than 40.
The problem is when it retrives data more than 80 rows, it is printing the
first column with 40 rows of data, second column is an empty, then the third
& fourth columns etc with data. The first column data and third column data
are repeated.
But it is printing correctly without any empty column if the number of rows
is less than 80 (i.e two columns of data).

What could be the reason? pls help.

Left to right column traversal with subreports has been fixed for
ReportBuilder version 7. Contact info@digital-metaphors.com with your
registration information in order to upgrade to RB7 for Delphi 6.
