Slowing down report-loading after use of Designer?

(Seen with both RB 5 prof. and RB 6 Entp.)

How come loading reports (from database) slows down after having used the
Designer on anyone report?
At first it loads in 1 sec. After Designer it uses more than 10 secs!

(Running the app from Delphi or stand-alone)


I use:

ppDesigner.showmodal;

It doesn't work like this in our tests here. Can you reproduce the problem
using our Report Explorer DBDemos based example? Are you using RB 6.03?
There was an older issue in the previous RB 6 versions that made too many
calls to the printer initialization that may be causing this.
