Hi,

I may be confused, or just stupid or both, but I wold like some
clarification of the RB/TeeChart relationship.

I have the latest D6, and RB 6.03, though I ordered the upgrade last night
(UK time) to 7.

I believe what I want to achieve is to be able to have a report that shows
some information in bar chart, or pie chart, or graph, and so I figure I
need to have TeeChart. So the question is do I need to buy TeeChart Pro, or
is what is already supplied with the above sufficient for me to achieve this
objective?

Any help most gratefully received...

If you have RB 7, you will have to distribute with runtime packages if you
want to distribute the teechart editor capability in the report designer for
your end users. Otherwise, if you want to simply print reports that you've
created and compiled into your application, then you can build an exe
without having to purchase Teechart 5.02 for D6.
