Slow reports on some printers especially new HP

My client complain that my invoice and reports are slow on their HP printers
on xp computers. When they print something on another programs they print
really fast whe they print on my application the printer performance slow
down. I am currently developing on a W98 computer and the font on xp are a
variation of true type. Is this an issue?
Also I got other clients using Lexmak printer that do not have those
problems. Any sugestions?

The fonts could be the problem. Try creating a sample report in a TrueType
font only (like Arial) then see if the report prints slow for this client.
This would at least indicate whether fonts are the issue.
