How to recompile RB6.03 from source code

I went to recompile RB6.03 pro from source code to include a (DM provided)
patch and now I have a smouldering heap!

Obviously changing the library settings for ReportBuilder from 'lib' to
'source' and then recompiling DCLRB55.dpk was not the thing to do.

Anyone got some idiot proof instructions for how to recompile RB6.03 from
source code in D5?

Do not recompile any RB packages. Any patches which need to be applied are
only intended to work at runtime using the source pas files. Some patches
have a change to the implementation sectin and cannot be recompiled with RAP
linked in as the RAP source is not distributed. The next maintenance
release will address that issue and provide updated rb packages.
