Access vilolation on detail band

I have a report that I set the detail band to true or false based on the
users choice. I get an access violation when the report is
printed/previewed. I have tried to set the detailband of the report to
false and I tried the beforeprint event of the detailband of the form.
What am I dong wrong? Any ideas?

You shoud use the DetailBand.BeforePrint event to set the visibility of the
detail band. In what event are you referencing the detail band? Perhps it
has yet to be created or has been already freed when you are referencing it
in your code.
