Ctive X chart controls?

edited September 2002 in General
Hi,

We are evaluating the Report Builder server at the moment and like what we
see, however have one question:

Currently our on-line reports use an Active-X control from chart-FX for our
graphs/charts - this is an essential as it gives our customers options to
change the way graphs look and feel at will. Is it possible to embedd such a
control with Report Builder server?

At the moment we use ASP to load chart FX with the data it requires, however
if we can somehow do this with Report Builder Server then it will be a huge
benefit to us.

Thanks

Matt

The ReportBuilder Server Edition does not support embedded ActiveX controls
in its architecture. Our client web reporting interface for web browsers
(zero client) does not require any ActiveX controls, this is so it can run
on both Netscape and IE browsers. What you can do: On the server side, you
can use Teechart inside of the reports as a component (see main reports demo
#92 for an example) or you can use a TppImage component to print charts as
an image a report if you want to use another charting component and have it
    display in the report.
